What does gsm mean?
Gsm is the thickness of the material. 450gsm is the heaviest standard business card we offer, measuring approximately half a millimetre thick. If you're looking for a thicker business card, check out our luxury triplex business cards.
What is the standard UK business card size?
In the UK, most business cards are 55 x 85mm - which is around the same size as a credit card.
What is matt lamination?
Matt lamination is a clear ultra-thin layer of matt finish film that we adhere to both sides of the business card once printed. This adds a special texture to the card, protecting it from discolouration and fading.
Will matt lamination dull my design?
Matt lamination has a more natural appearance than other laminations, offering a softer look by reducing contrast on darker colours.
Are there any alternatives to 450gsm?
Can laminated business cards be recycled?
Unfortunately not. Laminated paper is difficult to recycle as the paper cannot be separated from the lamination once applied.
